OUR EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
Our farm is in a region where olive oil is the traditional product since Etruscan times. It is fundamental for the Mediterrenean diet. More than one hundred native olive trees produce our high quality extra virgin olive oil combining tradition with innovation.
We produce our olive oil with passion not only to sell it but also to use it in our own meals. That is why we harvest olives by hand and press them in our own oil mill in 4 hours after the harvest avoiding any plant protection products. We filter and store our olive oil in steel argon refrigerated containers to have it always fresh and tasty. Then it is bottled and hand-labelled.
Slow Food Presidium
In 2019 our extra virgin olive oil was labelled “Slow Food Presidium”, the only one in the whole Val di Chiana. We share Slow Food values in respecting good traditional food, its producers and our environment. Slow Food Association acts in 150 countries all over the world taking care of local product tradition and nature.
We would like to share with everyone of you the love for our land, giving you the chance to join us working it in its different seasons.
